Why Wiking Gold Team?

Did you know that the word "viking" means "expedition"? The goal of our expeditions is to bring precious metals from tournaments, where we fight with Win or Die attitude. We chose polish spelling of the word viking to refer to our polish masters - Linke brothers. However, the goal of our expedition doesn't have to be necessarily bringing¨the medals. With our "drakkar" we also explore new countries (and BJJ techniques) and we make new friends. You can join us for one of our "voyages", for now, at least in this video:

BJJ

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) is a martial art, combat sport and self-defence system that focuses on grappling and especially ground fighting. BJJ was formed from Kodokan judo at the beginning of 20th century. BJJ promotes the concept that weaker person can successfully defend against a bigger, stronger opponent using proper technique and leverage, especially using joint-locks and chokeholds. After Royce Gracie won UFC championship, BJJ became famous all over the world.

MMA

MMA (Mixed Martilal Arts) is a full-contact discipline mixing stand-up and ground fighting. During the match the fighter can use punches, kicks, takedowns as well as joint-locks and chokeholds. It is fought in an octagon shaped cage or a ring.

BJJ for kids

There are also kids classes in Brno. BJJ is a very effective and entertaining way how to develop overall physical abilities of kids, who learn at the same time how to defend themselves.
