We are the largest and most successful Brazilian jiu‑jitsu school in Brno. We offer a wide selection of public and private classes for both children and adults every day of the week. You can find us in the center of Brno, and parking by the gym is FREE for our members. Training with us brings many benefits. You will gain valuable life skills, greater self‑confidence, and the ability to better handle unexpected situations. You will meet many friends with whom you will build strong bonds both during training and outside of it. You will improve your strength and physical fitness. You will gain the confidence to walk down the street knowing that you can handle a risky situation and protect yourself or your loved ones.

COACH

Bronislav “Brona” Stříž is a certified second-degree IBJJF black belt and the only professional BJJ coach in Brno. He is also an officially registered IBJJF referee. In training both children and adults, he draws on more than twenty‑five years of experience in combat sports and six years of teaching at an elementary school. His detailed knowledge of techniques, principles, and combat strategy will help you fully unlock your potential.
 

He started his journey at the age of eleven, went through aikido, seitedo and muay thai training. In 2009 he started learning BJJ from brazilian master Fernando Araujo. He visited many seminars and training camps of renown BJJ champions ( André Galvao, Lucas Leite, Carlson Gracie jr…). He is a multiple medailist from vast number of european tournaments. In 2016 He founded a martial arts school – Wiking Gold Team –  teaching BJJ, MMA and self-defence. In 2019 Bronislav was promoted to black belt by his master Mariusz Linke. In 2022 Brona left Macaco Gold Team organization to register his own school with IBJJF – Wiking BJJ.

Brona’s students regularly place on the podium at major international competitions, including the most prestigious one — the IBJJF European Championship. The team currently boasts one European champion, one vice‑champion, one female vice‑champion, and one bronze medalist from the Euros. Brona has already produced two BJJ black belts, whom you will meet during training. He also collaborates with Polish master Leszek Jaremkowski (Forca Brava), a third‑degree black belt, with whom he organizes regular seminars.

RECRUITMENT TRAINING

The next recruitment course has not been scheduled yet.

However, you can still join one of our ongoing recruitment courses – Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:30 PM, or Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:15 PM.

  • The first training session is FREE.
What to bring: Training clothes – sweatpants (or shorts) and a t-shirt, slippers, and water. Please arrive a little early for your first session to allow time to change.

  • By car: Free parking available at the gym in designated spots

BJJ TRAININGS FOR KIDS

If you are looking for the ideal activity to support the all‑around athletic development of your child, Brazilian jiu‑jitsu is the right choice. Children’s classes continue in the second semester at the same times. On Tuesday and Wednesday at 16:00, we run classes for younger children aged 4–7. On Thursday at 16:00, older children aged 8–12 train. On Friday at 15:30, we have a mixed group. Each class lasts 60 minutes. You can register your children by filling out the form here. After submitting the form, we will contact you within a few days and send you further information.
